![]() (It'd help if anyone here who doesn't have a netgear router tell us.) So far the solutions/probable causes I've found were:ĭeleting the ROGame folder in documents - (Works for some people on the forums, but not working for me)Ĭhanging the Compatibility mode to have the game's exe run in administrator mode - (Just tried it, doesn't work for me, may work for others.)įor probable causes, I also have a netgear router, if anything it could be that the servers don't play nice with netgear routers. This problem has been happening for a long while now for the RO2/Rising Storm game and unfortunately it's been spilling over to this one now, and it's frustrating as all hell. So I'm afraid if I buy a wireless adaptor the same problem will come back.īump, we really need a solution for this. I used to not have this problem on my old laptop through playing on a wireless connection, though I was then getting extreme lag spikes, my ping to the router would ever minute or so jump up too the thousands, it was even worse than having disconnects. Please tell me if you have the same problem or maybe a solution. If any developers read this please try to fix this bug. ![]() But I don't find it reasonable that I have to buy a wireless adapter for my PC to play the game. ![]() I believe it has to do with me using a wired connection and not wireless. I have tried basically everything to fix it, but nothing works. ![]() Every single server I join after roughly 5 minutes and 20 seconds I get kicked from the server with a message saying: "Connection lost, your connection to the host timed out.". I've been having this problem in Rising Storm 2: Vietnam and Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm 1 as well. ![]()
